A simple, sweet appetizer to make ahead. An elegant chocolate to serve with Cabernet
24 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, use a good quality chocolate, 2 cups walnuts, toasted and ground fine, 1-14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk, 2 teaspoons vanilla, dash of salt, Chocolate Sprinkles, Shredded coconut, Walnuts, finely chopped
Cut the chocolate into small pieces; place in a medium sized pan over low heat, stirring constantly until melted; do not let it burn.
Stir in ground walnuts, condensed milk, vanilla and salt, blending well. Cool approximately 5 minutes.
Roll into small balls the size of a walnut, and dip into chocolate sprinkles or coconut or nuts as desired. Mix and match them for a beautiful presentation. Place on a cookie sheet and refrigerate until set.
